1. Pre-Departure "Deep Freeze" Prep

Before you leave, we ensure your home is fortified against the drop in temperature.

  • Systems Check: Full inspection of HVAC systems and thermostat adjustment to maintain safe baseline temperatures.

  • Plumbing Protection: Winterization of plumbing and irrigation systems.

  • Security: Secure all entry points, test alarm systems, and shut off non-essential utilities if requested.

2. Scheduled Boots-on-the-Ground Inspections

Electronic monitoring isn't enough. We perform bi-weekly or monthly physical walkthroughs.

  • Mail Management: Confirmation that mail and packages are not accumulating.

  • Reporting: Detailed inspection reports emailed to the owner with photos.

3. Snow & Ice Management (City Compliance)

  • Compliance: Shoveling of sidewalks and walkways to prevent hazardous conditions or code violations.

  • Heavy Snow Events: Vendor coordination for heavy snow events and optional full removal for driveways/rear entries.

  • 24/7 Response: Emergency response for major systems and owner notification for urgent concerns.

5. The "Warm Welcome" Return

We prepare your arrival so you don't come home to a cold house.

  • Reactivation: De-winterization, utility reactivation, and HVAC reset.

  • Refresh: Interior airing, system checks, and optional light cleaning.

  • Restocking: Optional restocking services.
